Both the depth and breadth of international communication between the College of Plant Protection and oversea institutes have been greatly expanded in recent years. There are long-term interactions with colleges and/or institutes from the United States, Great Britain, France, The Netherlands, South Korea, Australia, and Canada. Recently, supported the “111 project”, collaboration and communication have been established with world-renowned leading scientists. Several world-famous scientists have been invited as ‘Changjiang Guest Professors’, through which international intellectuals are recruited to lead and inspire the faculty in their specialist areas. There has been a significant increase in international cooperation, including exchange students, visiting faculty, and collaborating projects. In the past ten years, the College of Plant Protection has sent over 120 researchers and students overseas and hosted more than 100 visitors from other countries. As a consequence of this extensive international cooperation and communication, staff training and research development quality have continued to rise strongly.
